Qigong, Tai Chi.
Qigong [pronounced chee gong] : a powerful life-enhancing practice; exercise beyond fitness.
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle physical movement, breathing techniques, and engaged consciousness. It is often described as “meditation in motion.” The core principle of Qigong is cultivating and balancing Qi (life force) within the body. This harmonious flow of Qi promotes physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

- What’s with the suggested donation? Come join our community Qigong class. We believe everyone can benefit from this ancient practice. To help us sustain these classes, we suggest a donation of $25, but please don’t let cost be a barrier to joining. Your presence is what matters most!
- What should I wear? Wear something loose and easy to move in. We are practising Qigong in the park, so put on your hat and warm clothes that allows you to move. Shoes which are comfortable and the flatter the better.
- Where do we meet? We meet in Redfern park on the Chalmers Street side, about 100m up from Woolworths on the paved area near the children’s play area. If it’s raining we meet behind the café opposite Woolworths under the overhang. In case we miss each other, my mobile number is – 0478902859.
- Do I need to book? No you don’t need to book. Just come as you are.
- What if it rains? We still practise when it is raining, but we meet under the overhang behind the café.
- Can I bring my dog? Oh my goodness, yes please!
