Ron has been a practicing massage therapist for over twenty years, with a strong focus on rehabilitation and postural dysfunction. When he’s working, he likes to be as holistic as possible: this means looking at the whole sum of the individual and not just part of the sum.
If you suffer from headaches, migraines, neck pain or back pain; have poor posture or any kind of joint pain, then I’m he’s here to help. Ron loves to work with athletes, fitness enthusiasts, office workers and about anybody else who can’t seem to find the right therapist.
He incorporates lots of movement, with a strong focus on corrective exercises to improve mobility, stability and strength; breathing techniques to increase lung capacity, strengthen the diaphragm and maintain a strong core.
Ron holds the following qualifications:
After 20 years in the industry, several diplomas (and other qualifications), 1000’s and 1000’s of hours of soft tissue work, I’d say my style is definitely a stand out. I’m lucky to have had amazing teachers and some awesome mentors in my time, that were able to teach me more than just techniques. My greatest satisfaction is providing long term relief for those who have tried almost everything.
It was through an injury I sustained whilst playing basketball. I had two options: deep tissue sports massage or surgery.
I don’t have a typical patient as they range from young adolescents to senior citizens. That said, I’m happy to work with anyone who has postural dysfunctions or short and long term injuries.
My daily practice of movement and self awareness. I also enjoy regular exercise and yoga on the weekends.
