Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy

Massage is the manipulation of the body’s soft tissues for therapeutic effect. The two main physiological effects are; to increase of blood and lymph circulation; to relax and normalise soft tissue. A whole body massage will have a general de-stressing and restorative effect, while a remedial massage is targeted at specific, localised pain or injury, with the aim of promoting the healing of specific tissues.

At Project DAO, our therapists are trained in a wide variety of techniques and can apply them to release tension systemically, leaving you feeling generally lighter and freer, or locally to deal with a variety of acute or chronic conditions, from headaches, through to sciatica and neck pain, to plantar fasciitis. We can treat you from top to toe.
