I grew up with my mother who is a passionate General Practitioner and my father is a keen advocate for natural medicine. This meant I was exposed to both Western and Eastern medical systems and was taught the importance of Conventional and Complementary medicine from a young age. This led me to pursue studies in Naturopathy and later Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In my younger years, I experienced Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). From being a very busy, athletic young man I was suddenly unable to do basic things. Though this period was challenging, It gave me a chance to experience first-hand the power of a holistic approach.
I believe everyone has the right to feel good. I am here to help you to take action and be your best on a physical and emotional level.

Jasmine believes regular acupuncture will help her live a little longer, and a lot better. She’s motivated to help people find relief from their everyday health concerns so they can move through daily life unrestricted, free to live according to key principles of daoist naturalism: unburdened; with simplicity, facility and ease; and in accordance with the cycles of nature.
Jasmine wants to help her patients discover how acupuncture can restore function and can be used across an incredibly wide variety of health concerns to activate the body’s innate healing mechanisms. She views acupuncture as a time-honoured modality which is best able to serve patients interested in slow, gentle, long-game medicine, who want to engage with their health now – before it’s too late.
Her special interest would have to be healthy aging and preventative wellness, a field in which she’s seen Chinese medicine really shine! To support patients with anti-aging concerns, and as an adjunct to regular acupuncture, she loves providing cosmetic acupuncture facials as an effective add-on to any skin care routine. Cosmetic acupuncture acts on all tissue layers, going beyond the skin surface to perform what your skincare alone cannot provide.

In your initial consultation, Jasmine will carefully consider and explain your treatment plan so you can come on board to a healing program with clarity and confidence. She recommends frequent treatment during flare-ups/acute stage and less frequent in maintenance/remission/chronic stage and is happy to provide treatment packs. In addition to acupuncture, she can provide herbal medicine alongside personalized dietary/cooking guidelines, yoga and mindfulness, acupressure, gua sha and myofascial release techniques.
Jasmine has big love and gratitude for the Project Dao community, where she worked as a clinical assistant and administrator before starting her practice here.

With a gentle and patient approach, she addresses a wide range of health issues, from acute to chronic conditions. Beyond acupuncture, cupping, moxa, and herbal medicine, Talieh incorporates sound and energy healing for a holistic approach.
Her personal journey towards wellness has informed her practice. Having struggled with her own health challenges, she understands the complexities of finding balance.
Finding Classical Acupuncture
During a peaceful weekly acupuncture session, where Talieh blissfully enjoyed the care of her acupuncturist, the idea of studying Chinese Medicine first came to her.
Talieh already held a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology. She had started a Master’s in that field but dropped out after five weeks — science in the lab didn’t bring her joy.
Growing up in Persia, Talieh had always been fascinated by traditional and natural healing. Ancient healing modalities felt powerful and profound to her. The day she decided to pursue a healing tradition, her path changed. She found herself at UTS, studying Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Though interesting, TCM didn’t satisfy her immense curiosity. Questions remained unanswered, so she continued seeking teachers. She discovered Classical Acupuncture, an unbroken Daoist tradition. As she explored its complementary channels, she finally found the answers she sought.
While learning online from her teacher in the States, she sought a local acupuncturist practicing this lineage to see how it was applied.
Talieh began interning at Project Dao with Yanan, where she felt a deep resonance with the practice. “This is it,” she realized. “This is how I want to practice.” Yanan’s approach, the way the practice is managed, and the healing space itself all resonated deeply with her.
She had found her home.
Perhaps you’re reading this, searching for a guide to help you heal deeply. Talieh’s practice is rooted in her profound understanding of Classical Acupuncture and the deep connections she forms with patients. From Chronic Pain Warrior to Your Healing Guide
For the first six years of my practice, I battled alongside patients facing the same enemy: chronic pain. Work injuries, migraines, arthritis – I’d seen it all. Acupuncture and herbal medicine became my weapons, and together, we conquered countless battles.
But during the pandemic, a different kind of pain surfaced in me – a hollowness that ached deeper than any muscle. Seeking answers, I stumbled upon Dr. Gabor Mate’s work. His words struck a chord: “Trauma isn’t just what happened, but what didn’t.”
This realisation led me on a year-long journey of self-healing through Compassionate Inquiry. When the world reopened, a new wave of patients flooded my practice. They carried a different kind of burden – emotional pain, fatigue, chronic conditions rooted not just in the body, but also in the mind.
My Practice Evolved
I learned to hold space for their stories, to understand how past experiences could constrict their bodies and lives. By combining compassionate inquiry with powerful acupuncture techniques (including the ancient art of Classical Acupuncture), I witnessed a profound shift in my patients and myself.
Healing Takes Time
Miracles happen, but true healing is a journey. That’s why I created the “Healing Contract” – a structured program that supports both body and mind during this process. It’s about replacing old patterns with healthier habits, creating lasting change.
My Journey Continues
This path of self-discovery is ongoing. Classical Acupuncture, with its focus on the body’s complete energy network, became a vital part of my own healing. It’s a powerful tool I now utilise alongside Compassionate Inquiry to empower my patients on their own healing journeys.
