1. Eligibility

This retreat is exclusively open to Channel & Advanced Acupuncture Practitioners who have studied under Ann Cecil-Sterman.

2. Retreat Details

Deposit: A non-refundable $500 AUD deposit is required to reserve your spot and will be applied toward the total cost.

Dates: October 2–8, 2025

Location: Golgulsa Temple, South Korea

Cost: $3,500 AUD

3. Payment Options

Once your deposit is received, you may choose one of the following payment plans for the remaining $3,000 AUD:

▸ Option 1: Full Payment

Pay the balance in full within 3 business days of deposit confirmation. Failure to do so may result in your spot being released.

▸ Option 2: Auto Debited Installments

4. What’s Included

• Roundtrip transport between Seoul and Golgulsa Temple
• Shared accommodation at the temple
• Three meals per day during the retreat

5. What’s Not Included

• Health, travel, or personal insurance
• Additional travel expenses outside the Seoul-Temple route
• Personal purchases or incidental expenses

6. Food & Dietary Restrictions

• Outside food is not permitted at the temple
• Please inform organizers of any dietary restrictions before arrival
• While we do our best to accommodate, special meal requests are not guaranteed

7. Liability & Insurance

By participating, you agree that:

• Liability: The organizers, temple, and staff are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage during the retreat.
• Insurance: You are responsible for securing adequate travel and health insurance.
• Force Majeure: The organizers are not liable for cancellations or disruptions due to events outside of their control (e.g., natural disasters, travel bans, etc.).

8. Conduct & Respect

Participants must uphold respectful behavior toward other attendees, temple staff, and the local community. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior, including violation of temple rules, may result in removal from the retreat without refund.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

• Deposit: $500 AUD deposit is non-refundable
• Participant Cancellation: Written notice must be submitted before May 31, 2025 for a refund of the remaining $3,000 AUD (processed within 5 business days)
• Organizer Cancellation: If the retreat is canceled by the organizers, a full refund (including the deposit) will be issued

10. Photo & Media Consent

By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded for future promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any media, please notify the organizers in advance.

11. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email. Continuing to participate constitutes acceptance of any updates.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes will be settled in South Korean courts.
